🌱 Sunset Paint Night + Meet Drone Pilot + Wearable Art Fashion Show

Hey, neighbors! I’m back with your new copy of the Dunedin Patch newsletter. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening in town, including…

  • Send your first-day photos to Pinellas County Schools.
  • Get tickets to a watercolor paint night with Essie Bergen.
  • Wearable Art 17, a fashion show, is coming to Dunedin.

But first, today’s weather: A t-storm around in the p.m. High: 94 Low: 82.

Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Interested in learning how to paint a beautiful watercolor sunset? Join local artist Essie Bergen on Aug. 30 between 6 and 8 p.m. at Pearly’s Beach Eats! In addition to her incredible instructions, attendees will receive a mini guide and reference image to help them along. Space is limited, so those who are interested should grab tickets ASAP! 2. The Rotary Club of Dunedin North will be hosting drone pilot John Yanchoris on Aug. 9 at 7:15 a.m. at the Dunedin Golf Club. Yanchoris has captured videos of sharks off the Dunedin Causeway, including a great hammerhead. Join the Rotary Club for breakfast to hear Yanchoris talk about this and other sightings! 3. Tickets are now available for Wearable Art 17, Tampa Bay’s Premiere Art fashion show featuring 10 designers. The event will be held on Aug. 26, kicking things off with a pre-party at the Dunedin Fine Art Center at 7 p.m. The runway show will begin at 8 p.m. in the Dunedin Community Center and can be viewed at a discount on a live stream.
