Some fruits easily lend themselves to nail art. Anyone who is regularly fed manis on their FYP (*raises hand*) has seen dozens of gorgeous cherry nail ideas. Lemons and oranges are the perfect addition to “Italian summer” sets, while blueberries and strawberries perfectly encapsulate picnic energy. One fruit we don’t see featured quite as often, however, is watermelons. Which is a shame: What’s more summer-coded than a ripe, freshly cut watermelon, sliced up and served after the hot dogs and hamburgers at Memorial Day or Fourth of July cookouts?
