2 burglars caught, booty worth Rs 35 lakh recovered | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: Two men involved in four burglaries, including one recently at the house of a marine engineer in the city, were arrested by the IS Sadan police and 35 lakh worth stolen property recovered.
Habeeb Mohammed (35), a plumber, and Md Ibrahim (40), an auto driver, were arrested on Monday night from their homes in Shaheen Nagar. Police recovered 57 tola gold, a bike, a cell phone and a tablet, all worth 35 lakh, from their possession.
On November 6, police had received a complaint from Syed Mujahid Hussain (54), a marine engineer from New Santhosh Nagar Colony, that his house was burgled on the night of November 5 when he along with his family had gone to a function.
Police zeroed in on the accused after analysing CCTV footage.
