From totes to crossbody to shoulder bags, Lacoste reimagines its athletic savoir-faire into leather goods
Leather, in its many forms and types, is a versatile material that can transition from casual, rugged, and even sophisticated styles. For bags, they can be investment pieces or everyday accessories, thanks in part to their timeless appeal. They are worn as a clutch, crossbody, shoulder bag, handbag, or structural tote in a variety of sizes.
As an ode to the timelessness of leather and its French heritage, Lacoste is featuring their Leather Goods 2024 Collection at a pop-up store in Greenbelt 5 Fashion Center in Makati City. With any purchase from the boutique, you will receive a limited edition Lacoste Pouch to match your new bag. Shoppers can also partake in some pastries and cups of coffee at the Le Café Lacoste within the pop-up from September 19 to 29, 2024.

Athena
Tagged by the French brand as “the new shopping bag,” the Athena is the more polished counterpart of the L.12.12 designed with soft grain leather. As a shopping bag, the bag’s interior can hold your latest accessory or apparel finds, and perhaps a handful of small grocery items. Its black finish fits well with any outfit, whether casually dressed in jeans or matching its refined look with a knit turtleneck and wide-leg pants.

Anna
As a palindrome, the Anna bag is designed as a reversible two-tone bag for those who want a purse with a lot of style mileage. The versatile Lacoste bag can be worn as a medium crossbody or a large shoulder bag.

Of all the bags in Lacoste’s roster, the L.12.12 has seen many versions from compact to larger sizes. The Leather Goods 2024 collection features the brand’s Petit Pique coated canvas and embroidered crocodile. As a nod to sports like golf, the tote matches with athleisure ensembles or for days when you have to dress down and run errands.

Zely
A contrast to the signature L.12.12’s style, the Zely is designed for a more feminine touch from the Monogram Collection that debuted in the French brand’s Spring-Summer 2025 line. For a trip to the Sunday market, pair the monogrammed Lacoste bag with a flowy dress and mules.

Maheki
Made of 100 percent cow leather with gold accents, the Maheki is the smallest bag released from the Leather Goods 2024 Collection. Its half-moon design can function as a shoulder bag and a crossbody, effortlessly shifting like the Anna as a day-to-night purse.
For daytime, wear it as a crossbody with a structured blazer, cigarette pants, and a white button-down. At night, wear it with a short black dress with knee-high boots.
