6 held, ₹30L stolen booty recovered

Hyderabad: The Suryapet district police have arrested six individuals, including an engineering student, for their involvement in a series of property crimes across the district. The police have recovered stolen property valued at 30 lakh from the suspects, who were linked to crimes in Munagala, Huzurnagar, and Chivvemla.
According to Sunpreet Singh, SP of Suryapet, the recovered items include 34.5 tolas of gold, 10 tolas of silver, three motorcycles used in the crimes, and the mobile phones of the accused.
One of the suspects, Kotte Suresh from Mellacheruvu, was addicted to online gaming and betting. To recover his losses, he turned to crime. Suresh was apprehended during a vehicle check on Thursday. He has been implicated in five theft cases, with 13.4 tolas of gold.
At Munagala, R Soma and P Dharmateja were arrested, and 16 tolas of gold was recovered from them. In Chivvemla, Anthani Yalamanda, Valloju Sathish, and Dakuri Upender were arrested in nine cases. TNN
