As the 2025 awards season comes to an end, the stars pulled out all the stops. While Cynthia Erivo’s stunning XL claws were impossible to miss, many stars used their manicures to further the story of their look. Erivo’s manicures always deliver, but this one is extra special. Done by nail artist Mycah Dior, the hand-crafted, 3-D stunner includes a gold watch, chains, gigantic gems, and so much more, all in a gilded gold-and-emerald palette. “We wanted an ode to Oz, to Emerald City,” Erivo shared on the red carpet.

To coordinate with her mirrored Chirstian Siriano gown—which features over 7,000 crystals—Halle Berry wore mirror-like nails. The design, done by Kim Troung, features silver chrome gradient tips on a milky white base. “Halle’s dress is beautifully embellished with rhinestones and mirrored glass,” says Troung. “We wanted to keep the nails a touch more subdued but with a little oomph, so we decided on this cool faded metallic tip.” She used Aprés For Once as base and a light touch of Summer Aurora over the chrome.

Ariana Grande went for a classic, almond-shaped French manicure for her Oscars look by nail artist @nailanatomy. Her manicure was stunning alongside her gorgeous Schiaparelli gown, which features 190,000 crystal sequins and rhinestones.

Lupitia Nyong’o served mother of pearl in this Chanel gown that bore 22,410 pearls. Staying on theme, her manicure, done by Vanessa Sanchez McCullough, features a sheer nude base with a pearl at the tip of each almond nail.

A red manicure is the perfect match for surprise performer Queen Latifah’s stunning sculptural Siriano gown. But to keep things interesting, Sreynin Peng added a peek-a-boo effect with a nude half-moon accented by tiny diamanté accents.
