Isla Fisher shows off nail art after pointed message at ex Sacha

Isla Fisher is currently living her best single life and on Wednesday she treated herself to a luxury manicure.

The Australian actress, who recently split from her husband Sacha Baron Cohen after almost 14 years of marriage, posted an image of her ‘evil eye’ nail art.

Evil eye symbols have frequently been found throughout history across several different cultures.

It is largely believed they ward off evil intentions and curses, offering protection to the person who wears the symbol.

Two of Isla’s nails featured small blue and white evil eyes that perfectly matched her similarly printed top and phone case.

It comes after Isla appeared to send a cryptic message to her ex Sacha, 52.

The Wedding Crashers star, 48, posted the message to her Instagram page on Tuesday as she watched Robbie Williams‘ concert in London.

Isla shared a photo from the show and made sure to repost the lyrics to Robbie’s iconic song Angels, which the singer has previously revealed is about loss and grief.

‘I’m loving angels instead. And through it all she offers me protection, a lot of love and affection, whether I’m right or wrong,’ the lyrics read.

Robbie said of the song’s meaning in 2009: ‘Angels isn’t about anybody, it’s about the thoughts that loved ones that have passed on come back and take care of you.’

Isla has been living it up after recently announcing the couple’s split.

On Monday, she looked in high spirits as she laughed and joked with hunky British actor Ben Barnes at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for day eight of Wimbledon.

The newly single star threw her head back and giggled during an animated conversation with The Chronicles of Narnia star, who sat in the row in front of her.

The couple announced the news by sharing a picture of themselves together wearing tennis gear and using the sport as a metaphor for the marriage.

Their statement read: ‘After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down.

‘In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritised our privacy and have been quietly working through this change.

‘We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.’

Last month it was revealed that Isla is currently house-hunting in Hampstead, north London.

The star, who shares three children with Sacha, had been living in her native Australia with the British comedian.

However, she is now planning to move to the UK, an indication that the couple’s split is being handled with an exemplary lack of animosity.

Sources told The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff that she has a budget of £13million, give or take, and is searching for a forever family home for her and their three children.

A friend said: ‘It’s all about the kids and what is best for them; there seems to be no drama at all.

‘Judging by the size of the budget, the family will now be based in London. But Isla is going to keep her place in Australia.’

Insiders claim the marriage had been ‘shaky’ for years, with Sacha reportedly struggling after making the ‘sacrifice’ to relocate their family to Australia in 2020.

They moved from Los Angeles to Sydney, then on to Perth — where Isla’s family live — in September 2021, to escape Sydney’s strict Covid lockdown rules.

Sacha is believed to be in the process of buying a London house of his own, while it is thought he will keep a house in Los Angeles for work.
