Riders Cross The Finish Line As 24 Hours Of Booty Comes To An End

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hundreds of bikers pedaled through the Myers Park Neighborhood Saturday for a good cause. 24 Hours of Booty raises money for cancer patients.

Bikers from around the country and even as far away as England participated in 24 Hours of Booty.

The event is not a race or even an endurance event, instead for a full day bike riders, runners, and even walkers are welcomed onto a CMPD  secured course, called the Booty Loop, which measure out to three miles long.

Participants rode bikes and walk this route for as far as they wanted. All participants set their own goals. Some riders say they hit more than 100 miles and others who say they only walked the route for about 10 miles.

The main focus of 24 Hours of Booty is to raise funds and awareness for cancer patients. Charlotte’s 24 Foundation says so far in 2023 alone more than $1.4 million have been raised. That money will go to finding a cure for cancer.
