Dangerously Pointy Nails Are Spring’s Biggest Manicure Trend

The nails at Grace Ling looked killer—in more ways than one. Models walked the runway wearing silver chrome claws that had been filed to a dangerously sharp point, and we can’t get enough.

We’re watching this shade of milky Tiffany-blue polish as one of the biggest must-have manicure colors for spring 2025.

The exaggerated length and striking blue polish shade—the nails at Helen Anthony are not for the faint of heart, but that’s what makes them so fun.

The elongated nails at Naeem Khan looked as if they had been dipped in black polish just at the tips. Consider this a great way to wear black polish without fully committing to the dark side.

“The nail look created for Prabal was based on the optimism for the future. The smokey quartz nail is a symbol of spreading light and hope,” says nail artist Gina Edwards, who worked with Kiss.

We love this pearly shade of polish, which can read both white or pink depending on the lighting.

A soft and subtle nail look doesn’t have to mean demure. Here, pearly pink nails were accented with gold nail piercings for a hint of edge.

We love the juxtaposition of a feminine candy-pink polish shade paired with a bag resembling an antique leather football.

Sometimes, less is best, and we love Pamella Roland’s reminder that a sheer pink nail always looks great.

“The [Luar] collection is inspired by the ‘90s, rock n’ roll, punk, and grunge so you’ll see elements of that in the nail looks,” says nail artist Naomi Yasuda, who worked with Addiction Tokyo to create this matchy-matchy animalistic look.

The nails at Kim Shui featured an abstract pattern that looks like tortoiseshell.

The nearly floral abstract nail design at Masha Popova was mesmerizing, and we love the square shape, which differed from so many others on this list.

A single black stat painted at the center of each nail was the vibe at Christian Cowan.

Backstage at Private Policy, models showed off a nail look that combined a sheer extension base rimmed with silver chrome polish. The impact is equal parts understated and cool.

A little glitter never hurt anyone. At PatBo, nails were painted a soft shade of pink but accented with a silver glitter tip.

At Libertine, nails were also painted a molten chrome metallic—but with the addition of a touch of yellow at the base. Does this remind anyone else of Wolverine?

At Di Petsa, nails were shaped into rounded almonds and painted with a black French tip for a little edge. But what we love the most is the addition of gold nail rings, which are the ultimate in non-committal nail art.
