The Spiciest Moments From Fashion Month SS25

From New York to Milan — and soon, ParisFashion Week continues to spice things up for yet another season.

Where the world seems to censor any form of sex-positivity (hi Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram) the world of fashion continues to embrace sexuality and expression, often tapping women for inspo. The result? Breathtakingly kinky moments that also advocate for the girls.

Last season, nipples were the hottest accessory. This season, designers continue to reference women’s bodies, inspiring gorgeous structures at TAOTTAO, Di Petsa (every celeb’s fav) and more.

Speaking of Di Petsa, designer and brand founder, Demetria Petsa, debuted a new iteration of her viral Masturbation Pocket. This time, the designer known for subverting womanhood, debuts gender-fluid menswear and — wait for it — “Blood Masturbation Denim.” The purpose? To challenge “Narratives around female bodily fluids and celebrate the natural rhythms of the body,” the show notes read. “Hands are blood-stained and the models’ hair is entwined with sand, evoking an ethereal sensuality… their bodies marked by passion and nature alike.”

Reproductive justice was another “trend” this season with AREA partnering with Tinder and Planned Parenthood for a collection. Here, hands were the main attraction, urging the government to keep its hands off of our uteruses and draw “attention to the tens of millions of people of reproductive age, living in states that ban some or all abortions who face barriers to the care they need,” Tinder shared.

AREA, Dreaming Eli and Puppets and Puppets, also played with hand placements delivering cheeky collections.

Baring it all was also a recurring trend this season. It’s no secret that skin has elevated many of our favorite looks and in Milan, Puppets and Puppets let it all hang out. According to the designers behind the New York label, “It’s a style show not a fashion show. The clothes are minimal and strange. They tell a story and also create a context for the handbags. The clothes won’t be put into production, they exist as creative expressions only.”

As for London-based designer, Sinéad O’Dwyer, her show is one that can only speak for itself.
