The best street style from Milan Fashion Week SS25

Milan Fashion Week for spring summer 2025 is officially underway, and as per usual, Italy’s capital is absolutely delivering both on and off the runway. That’s not to say that both New York and London didn’t have their fair share of hits (can we talk about Nensi Dojaka x Calvin Klein and Daniel Lee’s latest delivery of Burberry goodness?). But there is something about velvety espresso and a romantic accent that takes the street style to the next level. Which, is why I personally couldn’t wait to see what the city – and its visiting and fashionable guests – would bring to Milan street style for spring summer 2025.

We are only a few days into the schedule, but already, the street style set are delivering looks that make you feel something. A very Italian approach, if you ask me. Whether through interesting silhouettes, vibrancy and joy in colour or even experimentation with hair and makeup, Milan street style has long been known for its more considered approaching to incorporating character through style. Some of my personal favourite looks so far have ranged from RUSSH favourite Yan Yan Chan, outside the Prada show in a pair of unmissable red sandals, to the ultimate model off-duty signature look of denim and a perfect, blue, pinstripe button down.

On the runway, there’s no shortage of emotive fashion either. The RUSSH team let out a collective gasp (the good kind) while watching the Prada show from our homes in Sydney via livestream; and I personally still can’t stop thinking about Angelina Kendall and Vittoria’s perfectly sculpted brown suits and crisp white shirts courtesy of Max Mara.

Now, more than halfway through this season’s fashion month, we’re really beginning to paint a picture of what the trends of the next six-12 months will look like, and if our predictions are correct, we’re certainly in for a treat. But for now, let us share all the street style from Milan Fashion Week that is making our hearts skip a beat.
