Police hunt robbers who stole $550,000 worth of luxury handbags

Police are appealing for public help to catch robbers who stole luxury handbags worth $550,000 from a Melbourne business last month.

Detectives today released CCTV photos from the robbery inside the centre at Glen Waverley, in the city’s south-east on Monday, September 16.

It is believed the trio parked a silver 2008 Range Rover Discovery, on Snedden Road just after 2.30am.

The trio then forced their way into the shopping centre entrance on O’Sullivan Road before breaking into a store within the complex.

Once inside, the offenders smashed the display cabinets and stole more than 20 Hermes designer handbags.

The offenders then fled in the Range Rover.

They are also keen to speak with any witnesses or anyone that may have been in the area at the time.
