Do you like your nails done? Then it’s hard to pass up Ongles de pute, run by Alice, a nail technician, offering quality Russian manicures and impressive nail art.
Ongles de pute was created by Alice, who became a nail technician out of passion. Does the name ring a bell? You’ve probably seen theOngles de pute Instagram account, where Alice shares her creations and videos of her chatting with customers, videos that have now gone viral.
We were lucky enough to be able to test Ongles de pute and talk to Alice about her background, training and concept, and we weren’t disappointed! The story ofOngles de p ute began when Alice was still at interior design school, creating manicures for her friends. As time went by, and after she had finished her studies, she realized that she finally wanted to make a career out of it.
Ongles de pute was officially born after the confinement of 2020, when Alice embarked on her first training course in Lyon. She began her appointments there, then moved to Paris in November 2023. In the meantime, Alice develops an Instagram concept that creates a buzz: filming herself with her reactions when her customers ask her for the manicure they want. The concept works like a charm and Ongles de pute is now followed by 271 thousand people.
But what exactly does Alice offer? The nail technician offers a Russian manicure with sheathing or American caps with color, ranging from €100 to €150 depending on the nail art and the work involved (you need to allow around €1 to €10 per nail, depending on the difficulty). Russian manicure is a nail-care technique characterized by a particularly meticulous and precise method for cleaning and preparing cuticles.
To book an appointment, you’ll need to do so from her Instagram account, and be on the lookout in case slots become available if she’s fully booked. Alice offers three slots a day at 9:30am, 1pm and 4:30pm, and if you don’t want your voice to be in one of her upcoming videos, no problem, she takes care to ask you first.
The nail art influencer welcomes you to her home in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, for an appointment lasting up to 3 hours in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The idea is to chat while we pamper you! If you don’t know anything about different nail techniques, Alice will advise you on what’s best for your nails: capsule, sheathing, acrygel patch…
After a gentle manicure, she chooses the technique best suited to your nails, then adds color and nail art according to your request. Alice’s precision is astounding, and you’ll be able to get into some pretty complicated nail art choices, which is great fun. To give you an example, here’s one of Alice’s latest nail art creations (yes, it’s Sabrina Carpenter ):
