Autumn is here and while most of us are keen to update our wardrobes with the latest trends and colours, for some of us it’s all in the nail art.
A quick and affordable way to indulge in the new styles and hues of the season, now is the time to swap those summer pinks, pastels and flower nail art for something a little more bold and deep such as greens, oranges and reds.
From pumpkins and leaf designs, to burgundy colours, there are so many fabulous autumn nail ideas and shades to embrace now we’ve arrived at autumn. Halloween and fireworks are also a great theme to explore these months too.

Deep reds and burgundy
Is it even autumn if you’ve not asked your nail tech for a deep dark red yet?
Burgundy has already been a big hit in 2024 with it taking over our wardrobes in the coats, tops and shoe department so it’s obvious it would spread to our hands too.
Whether you like long nails or naturally short, this is a colour that will compliment all shapes and lengths.

The leaves are changing colour, the ground is covered in crispy foliage and the autumnal colours are popping so it’s time to take inspiration for your fingertips.

Wild for animal print
Animal print is a classic autumn nail style trend that repeats year after year. And with leopard print being such a big hit on the clothing rails for 2024, it’s the perfect time to match your nails.
And we’re not just talking leopard print (which is extremely versatile) but how about snakeskin? Or if you want even bolder how about zebra stripes? Just ask for the print in autumnal colours and you have a winner just like the Instagram user below.
On-trend brown
For some of us, ditching our neutral nail shades for something more bold can bring us out in a hot sweat but don’t worry, those neutral brown shades are here to save the day in autumn.
