Chrisean Rock, one of the stars of Baddies Midwest, has garnered as much attention for her legal history and presence on reality television. Her relationship with rapper Blueface, several alleged fights, and ongoing legal problems have kept her in the news.
In June 2024, while trying to help Blueface with his legal problems, Chrisean Rock got into trouble. While he was in court for probation violation charges, Chrisean was arrested on a fugitive warrant. The charges were related to two cases: one involving James Wright, a friend of Tamar Braxton, who was charged with assault, and another case in Oklahoma that was still being investigated for drug possession.
The assault case goes back to November 2023, when Chrisean is said to have hit Wright after a fight backstage at a concert, hurting his face and breaking his teeth. The charges against her in Oklahoma, on the other hand, are from 2020 when she was allegedly caught with drugs in a car.
A closer look at the assault case of Baddies Midwest star Chrisean Rock
In November 2023, Baddies Midwest star Chrisean Rock was reportedly involved in a disagreement at a Tamar Braxton concert at The Novo in Los Angeles. According to reports, Chrisean became upset after she was not allowed to perform on stage, which led to a confrontation with James Wright, a close associate of Tamar Braxton.
The disagreement escalated, and Chrisean allegedly struck Wright multiple times, reportedly injuring him severely enough that he required medical assistance for cuts to his face and damage to his teeth. Following the incident, James Wright publicly shared his account, expressing both shock and frustration over the altercation.
Tamar Braxton also commented on the situation, sharing her disappointment. She had previously viewed Chrisean as a promising young artist from her home state of Maryland, and the altercation left her disheartened, especially since she had supported Chrisean’s budding career.
James Wright said:
“Everybody wanna tell stories and tell they versions. I was an innocent bystander. You know, you still gotta keep joy and stuff… I don’t know what be wrong with people.”
At first, Chrisean called the reports “false narratives,” but she eventually agreed to a plea deal that got her a short jail sentence of 30 days and one year of probation. The court told her to stay away from Wright and the concert venue, which was a big step in her growing legal problems.
The Oklahoma drug possession case of the Baddies Midwest star Chrisean
Chrisean’s legal history dates back to a 2020 incident in Oklahoma, involving charges of drug possession with intent to distribute. Reports say that Chrisean broke into Blueface’s house, stole his car, and then drove across the country to her hometown of Baltimore. Blueface’s manager, Wack 100, wrote on social media at the time:
“This Bozo deserves all that she has coming to her !”
Police caught her in Oklahoma, where they reportedly found drugs in her car, which led to more charges. She didn’t turn herself in even though she knew there was an arrest warrant for her, saying she was worried about her baby son’s safety.
Chrisean was recently extradited to Oklahoma, where prosecutors reportedly seek years in prison. She may now have to deal with the possibility of a longer sentence.
Some people think she might not get a long prison sentence, but the charges have made people talk about how her life choices have affected others and the problems that lie ahead.
The premiere episode of Baddies Midwest aired on November 3, 2024, on the Zeus network.
