Tlux Nail Lounge in downtown Silver Spring is celebrating its grand opening this Saturday with 20% off all services, free pedicure vouchers for the first 30 guests, and a raffle for a Gucci handbag.
The nail salon opened in November next to MOM’s Organic Market at the Atwell On Spring apartment complex and is managed by Tris Le, a licensed cosmetology instructor and former owner of 5606 Nail Spa in D.C.’s Chevy Chase Circle neighborhood.
Le is a longtime resident of Silver Spring and has worked in the nail industry for over fifteen years, winning first place in Nail Art at the Nailympia global competition in 2022.
“I have lived in Silver Spring since I was a young kid,” Le said to The MoCo Show in August. “I am so familiar with the downtown area and my dream is to bring a good vibe to the neighborhood. I’ve done a research that there is no other nail salon in the area specializing in nail art and luxurious spa. I hope I can make the new vibe.”
