While there’s a lot of buzz about who Taylor Swift is dating, we’re more interested in her massive collection of affordable luxury handbags. During one of her first outings with Travis Kelce, Swift carried an asymmetric handbag with a braided handle that was designed by Aupen, a label that uses EU-certified sustainable materials to create vegan leather handbags. That wasn’t the first time that Swift gravitated towards a reasonably priced handbag that doesn’t skimp on quality. If you’ve been wondering where Swift’s miniature trunk clutch is from, look no further. It’s a design by the one and only Brandon Blackwood. The New York based designer has been creating bags since 2015, but with the launch of the End Systemic Racism bag in 2020, the label catapulted into global fame. Since then, Brandon Blackwood has expanded its offering of must-have designs to include the coolest over-the-knee boots and compliment-worthy cosy outerwear. Earlier this year, Swift paired her boxed Brandon Blackwood clutch with pleated trousers by The Row, an off-the-shoulder Alaïa top, and velvet Aquazzura sandals – just one of the many ways to style the viral mini bags by the label.

Aupen
Taylor Swift isn’t the only fan of Aupen bags, which retail for as low as £120. Add Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, and Gabrielle Union to the ever-growing list of celebrity fans who’ve sported one of the label’s vegan leather designs.
