Waterloo regional police are investigating a shooting incident in Waterloo’s university district.
In a social media post Sunday, they said it happened overnight in the area of Maple Court, near the intersection of University Avenue and King Street.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues,” police explained in the post.
No further details have been shared at this time.
