Iron County Small Business Saturday

Body

IRON COUNTY –  This year marks the 13th annual National Small Business Saturday, a movement to raise awareness about the importance of shopping local that takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The “Shop Small” promotion was started by American Express in 2010 in an effort to help small businesses gain exposure and inspire consumers to shop within their own communities – especially during the holiday season.

The Iron County Economic Chamber Alliance (ICECA) and the Crystal Falls Business Association (CFBA) are once again partnering to promote Small Business Saturday in Iron County.

The ICECA is currently working on compiling a list of Iron County businesses and organizations that would like to or will be offering a deal, discount or promotion.

If your business or organization would like to participate, please email ICECA Assistant Director Brett at brett@iron.org with your deal, discount or promotion by Wednesday, Nov. 22  at 1 p.m.

Compiled lists will be promoted prior to Thanksgiving and printed lists will be provided at both Iron County Small Business Saturday Support Hubs which include the Iron County Museum, 100 Brady Ave., Caspian and Amberlicious Nail Art Studio, 332 Superior Ave., Crystal Falls.
