Ranchi: Three miscreants were arrested from PHED Ground located under the Bariatu police station limits on Tuesday on charges of selling drugs to college students and other youths at Bariyatu, Kokar Chowk, and Booty More areas of the city, SP (City) Raj Kumar Mehta said.
A total of 32 pouches of brown sugar, weighing 3.83 grams, were seized from the arrested, he added.
The SP said the arrested were identified as Rahul Rai, Alok Kumar, and Abhishek Kumar. The police have received inputs about the gang and operation would be carried out to nab the rest, he added.
A case was registered under the NDPS Act.

Two TN college students arrested for ragging
The Sulur police in Coimbatore district arrested two students from RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Muthukumar and Gokul, along with their friend Dhanabal, for ragging Akilesh, a second-year BE student. The arrested students are final year BE students, Muthukumar studying mechatronics and Gokul studying civil engineering. Dhanabal works in a bakery in Sulur. Akilesh lodged a complaint with the police and the trio was arrested for their actions.
