Megan Thee Stallion matched her manicure to her Louis Vuitton bag

There’s no category of beauty with more room for creativity than nail art. I mean, sure, it may have literally the least room, but Megan Thee Stallion proves time and time again that anything you can imagine or be inspired by can be interpreted by a talented nail artist on those precious centimetres of keratin or acrylic.

In the past, we’ve been treated to everything from a sheer purple-shaped mani with gold chrome, to white tips with vivid blue on the undersides. Even a Nintendo-inspired set features in Megan Thee Stallion’s manicure repertoire.

Her latest choice of nail art, however, is clearly influenced by an eye-catching designer accessory. If I told you that someone’s manicure was inspired by a Louis Vuitton bag, it would be totally understandable — downright expected — to picture a dark brown manicure with a lighter, golden brown monogram pattern: classic LV. But Megan Thee Stallion isn’t exactly one to do what’s expected.

See, in the Instagram photos Megan Thee Stallion posted on Thursday, January 25, she’s carrying an $11,000 Louis Vuitton Speedy P9 Bandoulière 40 in an incredible shade of royal blue with a monogram pattern in white, and those are the colours she applied to her manicure.

And instead of reproducing the print, she opted to have her nail artist create an unconventional French manicure. The base matches that vibrant cobalt hue, and the extra-long, squared-off tips are white.

But from the looks of her caption, Meg is focused more on her stunning platinum blonde hair. She makes a reference to Kaneki — a Tokyo Ghoul character who goes from dark to white hair — before reminding fans that her new single, “Hiss,” is about to drop.

If she feels like sticking to the Louis Vuitton theme, it looks like her jacket could provide some fabulous inspo as well. Keep an eye out for a black, bedazzled manicure next.
