General Booty reportedly enters transfer portal, ending two-year career at OU

General Booty has earned publicity and even an NIL deal as an Oklahoma quarterback.

On Thursday morning, his career in Norman appears to be complete.

Reports have indicated that Booty has entered the transfer portal, beating the April 30 deadline for movement after two seasons in Norman.

General Booty, shown running for a touchdown during OU’s spring game, reportedly has entered the transfer portal.

The transfer from Tyler Junior College had played one game in each of the past two years at OU, seeing action in a loss at TCU in 2022 and a season-opening win against Arkansas State last season.

His last official appearance in an Oklahoma jersey came in the spring game when he ran for a 32-yard touchdown to help the offense beat the defense on April 20. He completed 2-of-5 passes for 4 yards and rushed three times for 41 yards.

Booty started the underwear collection “Rock ‘Em Socks” and “The General’s Crimson Cream” with the Crimson and Cream Collective and donated part of the proceeds to the Oklahoma’s Children’s Hospital.
