Former Allen QB General Booty Transfering From Oklahoma

Round Rock Hail Roof Inspection

General Booty, the former Allen Eagles QB, is entering the transfer portal and leaving the Oklahoma Sooners.

The 22-year-old QB, who is the nephew of former NFL quarterback John David Booty and former Miami Marlins third baseman and NFL quarterback Josh Booty, is transferring in search of a Division 1 program in which he can start at QB.

Booty started his high school career in California but finished it in Texas with the Allen Eagles. He then went to Tyler Junoir College, throwing for 3,115 yards and 25 touchdowns in his one season as a starter there before transferring to Oklahoma. With last year’s top recruit, Jackson Arnold from Denton Guyer, likely to be the Sooners starting QB, Booty has entered the transfer portal.

UTSA and Tulsa were mentioned as two early favorites to land the 6’3”, 195lbs QB, but he has met with several schools, and the latest is that the Iowa Hawkeyes may be interested. Booty has talent, and hopefully, the former Allen quarterback finds a spot where he can get some playing time.
