Alexa PenaVega is expecting again.
On Friday, the couple took to Instagram with a joint post to announce that they were expecting a fourth baby.
“Thank God we love adventures 😍😍😍,” the couple wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of them embracing and holding Alexa’s bump. “Oh baby here we come! Número cuatro!”
The actors are already parents to three kids — two boys Ocean, 6, and Kingston, 4 as well as their daughter Rio, who was just born in May 2022.
When their daughter joined the ever-growing family, the couple were candid about the health difficulties she faced as she was born one month premature.
“Little Rio could not wait to come out and play with her brothers!” the pair shared after their daughter’s birth on Instagram. “Momma is feeling good and baby girl is kicking some serious booty in the NICU. Praying we can all be home together very soon! What a wave of emotions. Much love and thanks to all the Nurses, Doctors from Maui to Oahu — who brought little Rio safely into this world.”
Although she rose to fame as a kid star for her role in Spy Kids, Alexa has been candid about wanting to step away from Hollywood to focus on being a parent.
“We don’t take projects at the same time,” Alexa told KTLA in an 2022 interview about how she and her Big Time Rush star husband deal with acting. “If they conflict by two weeks that’s fine, but anything more than that we don’t split up our family because the industry was not set up for families or marriage.”
“What we’ve said is ‘we’ve seen too many people break apart. We’ve seen too many families fall apart,'” she added. “I’m currently on tour with three kids on a tour bus for two months with Carlos as he tours America and Mexico with Big Time Rush.”
The couple have also moved their family to Hawaii, noting in the same interview that they wanted to live somewhere other than Los Angeles so their kids could have space to play.
“There’s always going to be busy-ness,” she said, “so for us we want to really unplug, and Hawaii was that place for us.”
The couple have been married since 2014 when they tied the knot in a ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
