Alexa Bliss “Beyond Thankful” For Voice Role In Netflix Series “The Queen Of Villains”

Alexa Bliss has revealed that she has provided voiceover work for the new Netflix series The Queen of Villains.

The series tells the story of the Japanese women’s wrestler Dump Matsumoto and her rise to infamy as one of the most notorious heels in All Japan Women’s Wrestling in the 1980s. Released on Netflix on September 19th, the semi-biographical show sees Yuriyan Retriever play the role of Matsumoto along with Erika Karata and Ayame Gôriki portraying the roles of Nagayo Chigusa and Lioness Asuka respectively, known collectively as the Crush Gals.

Also in the show is Japanese artist Maki Ueda, who has been voiced by Bliss in the English language version of the show. In a statement on Instagram, Bliss confirmed she is in the Netflix series and thanked everyone for their help in making it a reality:

When Did Alexa Bliss Last Wrestle?

The former Women’s Champion last competed at the 2023 Royal Rumble where she challenged Bianca Belair for the Women’s Championship. Alexa Bliss is currently on maternity leave as she and her husband Ryan Cabrera welcomed their first child into the world in November 2023.
