A 31-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with transmitting a false public alarm, which is believed to have led to the death of Young Scooter. The woman, Demetria Spence, made a call to police alleging a woman was being beaten, bloodied, and dragged “back into the house.” The woman has since admitted her claims on the call were false.
Fox 5 Atlanta has released the audio of the call, which features accusations of a domestic dispute and the statement, ” There’s like seven guys that live in this house.”
“She ran outside naked, and then he was fighting her outside,” said the caller. “She tried to get away. He dragged her back in the house… she’s being held hostage.”
When police arrived, Scooter fled and was allegedly injured by a wooden piece of a tree. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Spence is also known as Demi Blanco and is a part of the Zeus Network show Baddies. In addition to admitting the call was a lie, she stated she made the call to “protect herself” as a past victim of abuse.
Young Thug believes fellow Atlanta rapper Young Scooter was shot by police, which led to his death. Hitting X, Thugger wrote: “Autopsy came back Street [Scooter] got shot.”
An official autopsy report on Young Scooter was released. The Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled there was no gunshot wound found on his body; instead, a penetrating wound to the right thigh caused blood loss. Scooter’s official cause of death is “penetrating injury of the right thigh” and ruled an accident.
Young Scooter’s son, Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey Jr., is reacting to the death of his father, calling out the Atlanta Police Department. “Damn my best friend gone,” Bailey Jr. wrote in the lengthy message.
“FUCK APD,” he wrote. “Police or not ain have no understanding bout you pulled straight up ain’t give a fuck bout no handcuffs on me. I just wanted to make sure you good dats all I kept askin and they hoe as kept lyin.
