Spotify and A BATHING APE (BAPE) have teamed up to create an exciting new partnership that blends the worlds of global hip-hop and streetwear.

After months of anticipation, the collaboration launched on October 11th with a fresh take on BAPE’s legendary Shark Hoodie and College Tee, iconic streetwear pieces for over two decades.  These new designs incorporate Spotify’s logo with BAPE’s signature camouflage pattern, making them must-have items for fans.

Marc Hazan, Spotify’s VP of Partnerships and Marketing, highlights the synergy between the two brands.

“BAPE’s musical legacy makes them a perfect partner for Spotify to celebrate the artists and fans who fuel streetwear and music culture. Our first project together brings this to life in ways fans haven’t experienced before.”

The coveted Shark Hoodie will be available at the BAPE STORE in Los Angeles starting November 2nd. BAPE CEO Mahmoud El-Salahy emphasizes that this collaboration speaks to both brands’ creative spirit.

“Music is at the core of BAPE®, inspiring the outliers we serve. Our partnership with Spotify fuses fashion and music, giving fans the ultimate soundtrack and uniform for their lives.”

In celebration, BAPE is also revamping the cover of Spotify’s famed RapCaviar playlist, featuring rapper GloRilla.  With over 18 million saves, RapCaviar is where hip-hop thrives. Fans will also see this collaboration’s bold designs on billboards across the U.S. and U.K. and during Barcelona’s match against Sevilla, with LED screens showcasing this unique union.
