Baddies Midwest episode 5 was released on November 24, 2024, on Zeus Network, and fans witnessed one more fiery episode in which newbies and OGs clashed to claim their “baddies” spot. Summer continued to beef with the cast members, Emma and Scotty got into a fistfight, and Jela and Big Lex’s beef reignited as Akbar called out Big Lex for being a “bully and a follower.”
Akbar V has not gotten into any beef so far, but she has indeed played a mediator and a pot stirrer several times in the show. The OG baddie has been calling out the cast members for their actions; she called Biggie out for reciprocating when Summer called her for a one-on-one fight, she then called Big Lex during episode 5 for picking up on Jela for no reason.
Baddies Midwest fans have been reacting to Akbar V’s screen presence and her actions on the show. Some of them liked Akbar’s mediator role and felt highly entertained by her while others criticized her for playing the “mother” and not getting involved herself directly.
The fans reacted on X, formerly known as Twitter, and shared their opinions on Akbar V’s show run so far. One fan took to X and commented:

Messy boots. The way Akbar was being messy tryna get them to resolve Jela & lex’s issue jus for Jela to get beat tf up. I’m sick of Jela she talks allat shit then hides her hand #BaddiesMidwest” wrote another fan.
However, others criticized Akbar for instigating a fight between Big Lex and Jela and commented:
“This episode was highkey boring and dragged out, i love jela & still like lex or whatever but their fight was trash/nobody won or lost & akbar screaming out all the girls do is fight and then proceeding to be messy to get lex which caused a fight is crazy #BaddiesMidwest” wrote a fan.
“Akbar like someone auntie.. why she get on Baddies Midwest giving old, tired, and bitter I don’t even know if bitter is the word” wrote another fan.
“Lex should have popped Akbar, too … cause who tf Akbar think she is BaddiesMidwest” commented another Baddies Midwest fan.
Baddies Midwest star Akbar V called Big Lex “a bully and a follower” during episode 5
Baddies Midwest star has earlier called Biggie for not standing up for herself and making excuses in “Spanish” when confronted by the cast members. This time it was the turn for the newbie, Big Lex, who picked on Jela during episode 4 for being a bully in the previous seasons.
Jela was annoyed as she considered the beef pointless, citing Big Lex had no right to sit at home and watch the show as an audience and then call her out on the show. In episode 5, when Akbar, Ivori, Rollie, and Jela were standing in the living room, they started a conversation about Big Lex. Akbar called Big Lex and asked her what her issue with Jela was. She also said:
“You done came in the house. You have been a bully and a follower.”
Big Lex told her that she had nothing personal with Jela, and called her out because she felt that Jela did not fight with someone bigger than her, and called on someone smaller in stature.
