One woman embracing her winter era is Beyonce, who in recent weeks has given us icy waist-length hair, tinsel thigh high boots, red sparkle catsuits, liquid silver gowns, and she even gave us glitzy bauble realness with a show-stopping bedazzled cameo mini dress.
Today, she continued the trend, posting a series of Instagram pictures showing an all-black outfit, complete with balaclava, cat-eye sunglasses and a leather wrap jacket… except for the most perfect matte, cherry-red lip.
If we weren’t so distracted trying to work out how to recreate the lip shade (we reckon NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in Dragon Girl would do the trick), we might have noticed some extra beauty details sooner. Zooming in, you can see Bey’s matched her nail tips to her lip colour, but that’s not all…

The fifth slide in the Insta series gives us a close-up of the nail art Beyonce has chosen ahead of Christmas day, and it’s everything. Not only has she remixed the classic Frenchie by swapping out white tips for a Christmas red, if you look closely at her thumbs, her nail artist has updated the design to create teensy, tiny Santa hats. And the elegant, elongated almond length mani gives the perfect amount of room and shape for the artwork to shine. Cute!
