Breaking Beauty: Editor Tries the Nails Inc Mani Marker | Us Weekly

Calling all manicurists!

This week’s episode of Us Weekly’s Breaking Beauty was all about the Nails. Inc Mani Markers. I (assistant editor Grace Riley) particularly loved how easy and fun the markers were to use over a fresh coat of polish.

The markers come in a pack of three colors — hot pink, black and white — and retail for just $10; or $5 per color. After shaking up the pen to get the pigment moving and pressing down on the felt tip until the product appeared, the markers were ready to use.

The markers are perfect for any beginner who is getting into doing their own nails at home. While I have been painting designs on my own nails for years with brushes, I still found the pen much easier to use. I was able to steady my hand up against a table and draw on any design I wanted.

While trying out the markers, I made a mistake on my floral drawing and was easily able to wipe it off without smudging the polish I had beneath the pen. I quickly used a paper towel to swipe the pattern off, but regular polish also removes the marker easily.

The Nails Inc. Mani Markers will also save you from having to pay a salon for a manicure, and it’ll let you get even more creative with your nail art.

Nails. Inc recommends applying one layer of their base coat followed by two coats of their polish (if you’re going for a colorful manicure) before using the markers. After perfecting your artistry, seal in the color with the Nails. Inc top coat.

I also thought the markers would be super fun to bring to a girls night — or to use during a self-care evening at home.

Voila! Quick, easy and fun nail art at home!
