30th November 2024 – (Hong Kong) A luxury handbag store, Ginza Xiaoma, located at Unit 1705, 16-18 Queen’s Road Central in the New World Tower, was the scene of a dramatic burglary early this morning. At around 7.51am today, staff reported that thieves had smashed through the glass display cabinets and made off with multiple high-end handbags.
Upon arrival, police conducted an investigation and reviewed CCTV footage, which revealed three suspects breaking into the store. The culprits quickly filled three large bags with stolen items before fleeing the scene. Authorities have classified the incident as a “burglary” and are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the individuals involved.
The store’s management has confirmed a major loss, with approximately 67 Hermes handbags stolen, valued at around HK$10 million.
