Owners out of city, ₹2L booty burgled in Pardi

Nagpur: The house of Lata Walde (61) was targeted by a burglar who decamped with cash and valuables worth ₹2.05 lakh between August 10 and 12 at Pardi. Walde had gone to Chikhaldara with her family when the incident happened. The burglar broke open the lock of house, sneaked in and fled with the booty. Pardi police have registered a case of burglary in the matter.
Ganja peddler nabbed
Mankapur police have arrested an alleged drug peddler who was absconding in an NDPS case. The accused is identified as Arbaz Abdul Khan, a resident of Gittikhadan. On May 26, the crime branch sleuths had arrested one Nagesh Khadse and seized more than 1kg ganja. During questioning, Khadse said he had brought the ganja from Khan. tnn
