Carrie Underwood’s Las Vegas residency is wrapping up this weekend, and the American Idol judge is making sure she leaves a lasting impression on her audience! During her show on April 11, the country music superstar had a serious wardrobe malfunction. But, of course, she handled it like a pro.
When Carrie took the stage to sing “Denim & Rhinestones,” her dance moves seemed a little awkward and, at one point, she put her hand behind her back to cover what looked like a hole in her bedazzled jean shorts. TikToker @ohheyimjk was at the show and said Carrie “handled this so well that you hardly notice.”
Later, when Carrie sang “Cry Pretty,” she took a break to address the wardrobe malfunction. In a video captured by @ohheyimjk, Carrie said, “Y’all want to hear a funny story? This is kind of embarrassing, but I was laughing and I want you to laugh too, so I’m going to embarrass myself. The last act, the zipper on the back of the little thing I was wearing—whoop! So I was laughing and running into people and I could not turn around. And I’m really sorry you guys had to stare at my booty for like two songs!”
Carrie shared photos from the night on her Instagram account and wrote, “Last night was epic…wardrobe malfunctions and all! Nothing like being stuck out on stage with your booty on display!
That’s what makes a live show fun…the unpredictability! One thing I CAN always predict, though, is how awesome the crowd is going to be! Thanks for bringing it, #Vegas ! Let’s do it one final time tonight! @resortsworldlv #CUinVegas

Carrie’s residency has come to an end, but fans can look forward to seeing her every week on American Idol. Fingers crossed she won’t have any more wardrobe malfunctions!
