Carrie Underwood‘s penultimate Vegas performance was one to remember — even if those memories involve an onstage mishap, during which, to quote Underwood herself, her “booty was on display!”
The American Idol judge, 42, was just one day away from wrapping up Reflection residency at Resorts World Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas on Friday, April 11, a Sin City staple Underwood helmed for four years. While reflecting on the night via social media, the eight-time Grammy winner made sure to call out the “awesome” audience, acknowledging the show was “epic … wardrobe malfunctions and all!”

“Last night was epic…wardrobe malfunctions and all! 
Nothing like being stuck out on stage with your booty on display! 
,” Underwood wrote via Instagram on Friday, along with a series of shots from the concert.
“That’s what makes a live show fun…the unpredictability!” she quipped. “One thing I CAN always predict, though, is how awesome the crowd is going to be! Thanks for bringing it, #Vegas ! Let’s do it one final time tonight! @resortsworldlv #CUinVegas.”
While Underwood didn’t include any footage of the onstage mishap in her Instagram wrap-up, one fan did happen to catch the embarrassing moment onstage — explaining that the “Jesus Take the Wheel” singer was so professional about it you’d hardly know what happened … until Underwood herself admitted it live onstage.
“She handled this so well that you hardly notice,” the TikToker captioned a video of Underwood performing, during which she made a point to not turn around as she danced in glittery silver shorts to the aptly named “Glitter and Rhinestones.” At one point, Underwood tucked her arm behind her back to seemingly block the tear in her shorts.
“I noticed the dance was a little off but didn’t know why until she talked about it during cry pretty,” the user continued, praising Underwood’s professionalism. “@Carrie Underwood handled it like a pro!”
As the TikToker noted — and shared in another video — Underwood herself acknowledged the accidental mishap during her performance of “Cry Pretty.”
“Y’all want to hear a funny story? This is kind of embarrassing, but I was laughing and I want you to laugh too, so I’m going to embarrass myself,” Underwood told the crowd. “The last act, the zipper on the back of the little thing I was wearing — whoop! So I was laughing and running into people and I could not turn around. And I’m really sorry you guys had to stare at my booty for like two songs!”
