Christmas is undoubtedly the most wonderful time of the year, and at Blackpool Pleasure Beach it is set to be a magical one.

With a jam-packed line-up of festive events and activities, there is something for everyone this season.

Santa’s Grotto at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is once again sprinkling some magic fairy dust and opening the doors to its popular Christmas Grotto.  A true winter wonderland, the Grotto is a magical experience where little ones can not only meet Santa, but also marvel at a winter wonderland including games, food and warming drinks, then take a magical ride on Alice in Wonderland.

Visitors will be greeted by festive elves and guided through Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s very own North Pole, before meeting the star of the show – Father Christmas. A truly interactive experience, the elves will ensure all children receive a special present in a festive gift bag including reindeer food and a magic key.

Guests can head to Heidi Strasse, which will be transformed into magical winter wonderland featuring festive themed games and food and drink outlets serving piping hot chocolate with marshmallows, bubble waffles and many more sweet treats.  Children and a guest can then board their very own Cheshire Cat and take a trip through the looking glass on Alice in Wonderland.

The Christmas Grotto Wonderland runs to 24th December. When booked in advance tickets cost £16.99 and £20.99 on the door. For more information please visit: blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/

Beauty & The Beast Pantomime at The Globe

Take your seats, because Beauty & The Beast is at The Globe – oh yes it is!

Returning to The Globe’s iconic stage at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is influencer and TV personality Charlotte Dawson, alongside ITV’s weather presenter Emma Jesson and Simon Green AKA Betty Legs Diamond, who will be joining a fabulous cast of panto pros.

Charlotte Dawson will be enduring all the boos as she embodies Fortulicious, whilst Emma Jesson morphs into the role of the matronly Mrs. Potts and Simon Green will be lighting up the audience’s faces as he dons his best flickers and flames as he stiffens into the role of the Can-Del-Lier.

The beautiful and kind Belle will be charming the audience as she attempts to warm up The Beast’s cold heart, whilst the Beast himself must desperately find the space in his heart for love in order to lift the wicked spell.

In true panto style, they’ll be goodies and baddies, singing and dancing and a little bit of Christmas magic! It’s a seasonal must for everyone.

Beauty & The Beast runs on selected dates from 25th November until 24th December with tickets starting from £12 per person.  To book, please call 0871 222 9090* or click here.
