Copy Hailey Bieber’s cherry blossom manicure at home as star sets new trend

Ever since she introduced her glazed donut nails, Hailey Bieber has been setting nail trends that we immediately want to copy – and the model’s newest manicure is no exception.

The model took to Instagram to reveal her latest set of talons, a pretty sheer pink base dotted with dainty white flowers and pink gems. ‘Little cherry blossom on my nail little cherry blossom in my belly,’ the caption read, referring to that fact that she recently announced that she’s expecting her first child with husband Justin Bieber.

This gorgeous nail art design was done by Hailey’s go-to nail artist Zola Ganzorigt, but we’ve found a quick and easy way to copy the look yourself at home.

Fellow celebrity nail technician Harriet Westmoreland – who counts Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Molly-Mae Hague and Rochelle Humes as clients – has posted a quick and easy tutorial on her Instagram page demonstrating her version of a nail look inspired by Zola.

In the clip Harriet starts by painting the nails in a very pale, milky pink – Harriet is an ambassador for The Gel Bottle so we guess that it’s a shade of BIAB like Ballet or Bonbon, but you can use Essie Gel Couture 468 Inside Scoop Nail Polish, £9.99, or Nails.INC Be Fearless. Switch Off Plant Power Vegan Nail Polish, £9.

Next use a dotting tool (this £3.69 set from Amazon is great value) to carefully draw on tiny flowers, dabbing on 5-6 little dots in other shades of white and pink to create the look of flowers and their petals. Either add on one flower per finger like Harriet does, or scatter them all over the nail.

To get the full Hailey Bieber look you could also add some tiny pink gems in the middle of each flower. Nail gems are having a real moment right now, and can be pick up cheaply from Amazon.

Finish with a layer of high-shine topcoat like Maybelline SuperStay 3D Gel Effect Plumping Top Coat, £6.99, to seal in your design and provide a long-lasting finish.

Short on time (or patience)? Lottie London X KimKim Stay Press’d False Nails in Glazed and Unfazed, £8, give a very similar look but can be pressed on in seconds.
