Some parents are involved in the happenings in their children’s school. One father has taken this to an extreme.
According to reports, in Arizona, Ira Latham felt the need to take drastic action to make his point about Higley Unified School District’s dress code. Appearing before the school board, Lathan took off his shirt and pants…and showed himself to be wearing a “tiny black crop top and denim short shorts”…or “booty shorts.”
Back in May, some members of the school board floated the idea of “expanding” the school’s dress code, but many…Latham included…felt that midriffs, tank tops, and spaghetti straps might be better suited for the pool rather than the classroom.
Even after Latham put on a very unconventional demonstration, the board still voted to approve the new, more lenient dress code by a count of 3-2.
