SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Saratoga Springs police issued an arrest warrant for a man from Washington, DC. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, for the 2023 Lola Saratoga burglary case.
On Tuesday, the SSPD sought and obtained an arrest warrant for Toron M. Melton, 34, whose last known residence was in Washington, DC, in connection with the smash-and-grab of a Guilderland luxury designer store that occurred in 2023.
On Dec. 12, 2023, Lola on Broadway was burglarized and some luxury handbags were taken. The police established probable cause during the investigation, which led to identifying Melton as one of the suspects, according to SSPD.

The arrest warrant charges Melton with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, and Grand Larceny in the 2nd Degree.
The investigation is ongoing, according to SSPD.
