Hip-hop has provided Diddy with hundreds of millions of dollars in wealth, so he knows how the rap business can help propel young entrepreneurs in a big way.
During a new cover story interview with Billboard, the music mogul and Bad Boy Records founder named two current artists who he believes will hit 10-figure wealth during their life.
“Nipsey Hussle, to me, was that young Puff version,” Diddy told the publication amid the release of his latest album The Love Album: Off the Grid. “But one person that I can say right now is Travis Scott. I can relate to how he’s diversifying his portfolio and really understanding how to take it to the next level.
“I also think Yung Miami [aka Caresha Brownlee] from the City Girls,” he continued. “She reminds me of Oprah with the endless possibilities that she has as far as her clothing line, television shows, performances, live podcasts. I really respect both of their hustles and see them being able to break through.”
Also, during the cover story interview, Diddy spoke about his latest album – his first in 13 years, closing the wealth gap for Black people and promoting DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives, Black Wall Street, and much more. Read it in full here.
