Preemadonna, the inventor of Nailbot, debuted an educational kit version of Nailbot called the DIY Nailbot STEM Kit and it was created to get more girls exploring STEM. This DIY build for kids ages 10 and up teaches mechanical engineering principles and technical skills as they construct their own nail art printer.
Over six months, the DIY Nailbot STEM Kit has been piloted with STEM educators and pre-teen and teen ambassadors and their reviews show an enhanced interest in STEM subjects. Young women are among the most passionate nail art consumers and with this kit, they can create not only their own nail art but the machine that prints it too. The Level 1 STEM Kit comes with 41 subassemblies, which take about 30-60 mins to complete.
