The downtown areas of Galax and Hillsville saw some creatures unlike anything ever spotted in these parts, from the cutest to the scariest.
Of particularly note were family groups, even though they weren’t always in thematic costumes. In Galax, we spotted a series of gods and monsters, as a mom and dad were Greek gods while their kids were various heroes and baddies; a possum with her “babies” on her back; a family of marauders who stay together because they slay together; and a “nun” and a “rabbi” who walked into a game of “Among Us” with their kids.
