Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after $50,000 worth of luxury handbags were stolen in Balwyn.
Investigators believe that the burglary took place at a shop on Balwyn Road between 7pm on Monday 13 November and 7am on Tuesday 14 November.
Two unknown offenders forced entry to the shop by smashing the lock to a back door before making off with the handbags, including a $30,000 Hermes bag.
Both males were wearing dark jackets and pants and had face masks on.
Investigators have released images and CCTV of the offenders they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
