Hip-hop icon Nicki Minaj has announced that she will bring her “Pink Friday 2 World Tour,” to Columbus on April 12.
The singer will perform in Value City Arena.
Minaj became “the first Woman to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 Hits” with 133 total entries to date (the most among female hip-hop acts). These include three No. 1s, over 70 Top 40 hits (also a record among female hip-hop acts), and 23 Top 10s (another record among female hip-hop acts).
As a songwriter, she also holds the record for the “Most Billboard Hot 100 Entries Among Women in the 2010s.”
Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday. For more information, visit www.schottensteincenter.com.
Minaj released her fifth album “Pink Friday 2” — a sequal to her 2010 debut — on Friday, her first new solo release in five years. Early reports indicate her latest album shattered Spotify streaming records becoming the most streamed album debut from a female hip-hop artist, and it’s also expected to top this week’s Billboard charts.
