Jersey City will be the scene when Levitate celebrates the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop with the first “Off Da Hook JAM” session at the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal at Liberty State Park on Saturday, Nov. 4, from noon to 8 p.m.
Earlier this year, Jersey City was the scene of several other events celebrating the birth of Hip Hop, including Mana Contemporary’s “From the Feet Up: 50 Years of Sneaks & Beats” exhibition.
