Hue Noir leads the beauty industry with tailored solutions for women of color

As Black History Month unfolds, ARC PDX is spotlighting local Black-owned businesses, including a Beaverton-based company making waves in the beauty industry.

Hue Noir, the only makeup brand owned, formulated, and manufactured by a Black woman cosmetic chemist, is addressing a common challenge faced by many women of color: finding the right makeup shade.

Hue Noir’s unique approach to cosmetics is not only providing solutions but also empowering women of color by offering products that cater specifically to their needs.

ARC PDX host Angelica Thornton caught up with Paula Hayes, the founder of Hue Noir.
