A FASHIONISTA has revealed a selection of her outfits that have been called too revealing.
She argued that in her opinion her sense of style is modest and suitable for Christian women.
Jacquelyn Larsen (@jacquelynmengel) boasts over 127,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her latest beauty buys.
She took to the social media platform to reveal not everyone in Utah approves of her clothing choices.
“Outfits that ‘apparently’ aren’t modest but I think are,” read the text over the video as M.I.A’s hit song Bad Girls played in the background.
Jacquelyn teamed a round-neck brown T-shirt with a pair of white shorts that she revealed people had stated was “too short.”
She then donned a loose-fitting knitted jumper with body-sculpting brown leggings that she said had been called “too tight.”
The style enthusiast changed into fashionable denim shorts with a v-neck shirt that was deemed “too low” cut.
Jacquelyn looked confident as she posed in each of the outfits while keeping her hair in loose waves and wearing minimal makeup.
She winked and blew a kiss toward the camera as she gave the looks her seal of approval.

“Start a riot,” read the caption of the post.
She included the hashtags #modestbasics, #Utah, and #Christian.
The video went viral with over 216,000 views and over 8,800 likes from people who liked her sense of style.
Many people took to the comment section to share their thoughts on what makes an outfit modest or not.
“To me, modesty is the no bbb rule (no boobs, butt, and booty rule),” one person wrote.
“Modesty varies by religion and personal opinion. And honestly, I think it goes so far beyond what we choose to wear. I think these are all great!” another said.
“Everyone’s definition of modesty is different and I think you look great! I love your sense of style,” a third chimed in.
“I dress like this and people at my school call me a nun sooo [embarrassed],” a fourth wrote.
“The only one I agree with is the leggings fit. Skin is covered but you can see EVERYTHING with those leggings. Personally would go for a long top but it’s not awful,” another added.
“To me, it’s modest compared to most women’s clothing! It’s so hard finding things that aren’t super short or cropped that are still stylish,” a viewer penned.
