“Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disorder and the best way to get your immune system right is to eat healthy foods.
“I let go of the sugars, the salt, the dairy. Gluten be having me in a chokehold sometimes so I do slip up. I stopped eating pretty much all meat.
“The second thing I did was reduce stress.
“Stress is an important factor when it comes to alopecia areata, usually the whole reason you have the initial hair loss in the first place is due to a traumatic or very stressful situation.

“I had to find some stress relief techniques.
“The third thing I did was stop using chemicals and stuff on my hair, well really I stopped using it on my body in general.
“Specfically my hair.
“So some of my favorite herbs which also come in essential oils are lavender, rosemary, and tea tree and I also use a very light oil like jojoba.
“Sometimes my base oil was like olive oil and I like using olive oil because it has anti-inflammatory properties.
“When I combined these three things y’all I got my hair back.”
She captioned the post: “Three things I did to grow my hair back from alopecia areata. This is my personal experience ** I am nobody’s doctor **.”
