‘I worked hard to transform my booty – but women keep hating on me’

A fitness star proudly flaunted her booty transformation but it’s left people a little divided.

Tammy Hembrow, the woman behind one of Australia’s biggest fitness empires, recently celebrated her engagement to reality TV star Matt Zukowski, and she was keen to show people what her hard work has achieved. It all came about when she was promoting her eight-week tone and shred challenge, which kicked off on January 15.

She showed her followers a before and after photo of her booty to reveal how she’d managed to sculpt her glutes by doing things such as lifting weights.

In a social media post, she wrote: “I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a challenge to start as I am right now When I tell you I NEEEED this challenge.

“Like I am craving it. After indulging way too much and having a little too much time off I am soo ready to see some major results.”

But, even though some people were quick to praise the mother-of-three for the impressive results, others expressed concern.

One person said: “That is years of training not an eight-week program.” Another added: “Y’all need to start disclosing that so people don’t think they’re gunna have a dumper in 8 weeks, you look great but I think this gives girls a lot of false hope they’re going to look like that in that short amount of time.”

A third asked: “Don’t you have other pictures of before your body now? That’s the only picture you have ever shown us of before.”

Others claimed the difference would have involved a lot more work to achieve the results. Some even suggested that the transformation looked so good thanks to the choice of bikini bottoms, style of pose and the camera quality.

This caused a lot of people to run to her defence, with one person claiming there were too many “hating a** women” in the comments section.

“Y’all must be new here cuz she’s been one of the earliest gym model junkie and has become the standard for most, don’t discredit around here,” another wrote.

Meanwhile, other said things like “there is hope for me”, and that Tammy’s content “inspires me so much to continue killing it in my fitness journey”.
