Less than two years into their career, IVE is already one of the best-selling acts in K-pop history!
Last week, IVE released their first-ever EP “I’VE MINE,” along with its third and final title track “Baddie,” on October 13. Just four days later, the album had already sold over 1 million copies, making IVE only the second female artist in Hanteo history (after aespa) to surpass 1 million first-week sales with more than one album.
On October 20, Hanteo Chart reported that “I’VE MINE” had gone on to sell an impressive total of 1,605,948 copies in the first week of its release (October 13 to 19)—easily smashing IVE’s previous first-week sales record of 1,102,107 copies (set by their first full-length album “I’ve IVE” earlier this year).
“I’VE MINE” is now the girl group album with the third-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, bested only by aespa’s “MY WORLD” (which sold 1,698,784 copies in its first week) and NewJeans’ “Get Up” (1,650,181 copies).
Additionally, according to Circle Chart data, IVE has now overtaken BLACKPINK to become the second best-selling girl group of all time (across all their albums). At present, IVE has sold over 6.5 million albums—and the only other girl group to have sold more albums to date is TWICE.
Congratulations to IVE on their exciting achievements!
