Baddies Midwest episode 8 premiered on December 15, on Zeus and shed some light on everyone’s issue with Biggie.
During the episode, Akbar joined forces with Natalie and candidly shared her feelings, expressing that she had done everything necessary and was exhausted from doing too much and tolerating Biggie’s behavior.
Akbar went on to say that she believed Biggie was jealous of her and the warm reception she was receiving from the rest of the cast.
“I’m just in a different space. Like I don’t feel like I gotta do all that. I’ve been fighting. I’ve been standing on team. I don’t got to really just do too much. One of the girls, Baddie, I feel like… she’s jealous on how all the girls embrace me,” she told Natalie and Akbar.
“I see the fear in her eyes” – Baddies Midwest star Akbar chimes on what she thinks of Biggie
At the start of Baddies Midwest episode 8, Natalie, Akbar, and Jaidyn joined in for brunch to discuss the current dynamic between the Baddies and some of the issues they had with their fellow castmate Biggie.
“So today, me, Natalie and Jaidyn is having brunch. We out there just talking and we get into vibe with Jayden. She’s talking about her birthday and how much fun she had with us. I know she’s gonna have a good time with me, cause b*tch I love that. I love to turn up,” Akbar shared in her confessional
After discussing Jaidyn’s birthday and the Baddie chain she received, Natalie turned her attention to Akbar. She mentioned that when they left Detroit, Akbar appeared somewhat “frustrated,” prompting Natalie to ask if everything was okay.
Akbar replied that she was having fun yet she was “in a different space”. She shared that she felt like she had done everything that was needed out of her and was tired of doing too much.
The Baddies Midwest star further pointed out Biggie and chimed that she was jealous of her and all the support she was getting from other cast mates.
In the previous episode, Akbar and Biggie got into a heated argument that escalated into a fight. Reflecting on the confrontation, Akbar told Natalie and Jaidyn that even though Biggie came at her, her first instinct wasn’t to throw a punch—she hesitated because she saw fear in Biggie’s eyes.
“Even like when she [Biggie] threw the purse, my imidate instinct were opposed to punch on her sh*t. But my instinct is like ‘Man, I see the fear in her eyes.’ The only thing I ever told and I don’t know why she’s so upset that I’m saying like “Stand up for yourself. You don’t ever let nobody hit you,” Akbar told Natalie and Jaidyn.
Jaidyn had no interest in Akbar’s feud with Biggie and shared in her confessional that the two Baddies Midwest cast mates should just “figure” things out and get over it.
Natalie felt Biggie was thinking big of herself because she was on four seasons of Baddies, which might be the reason why she was acting the way she was in the last few episodes.
The Baddies Midwest producer further believed that Biggie was trying to strengthen her position on the show by getting Ahna, Tesehki, and her other friends on her side.
“So Biggie’s whole thing lately is like “I’m the cloud after four seasons of being on Baddies’. So I just feel like now what she’s trying to do is get Ahna and Tesehki and her crew that she’s always had on her side,” Natalie told Akbar, and Jaidyn.
Natalie then reached out to others, inviting them to join their brunch through calls and texts. However, she made it clear in her messages that she didn’t want Biggie to attend.
Baddies Midwest season 6 airs every Sunday on Zeus.
